The Story behind Mind Your Spine
Mind Your Spine was founded by principal chiropractors Angelina and Tao Yang after years of clinical practice in London.
Driven by a shared vision, they returned to Malaysia to bring their expertise home—delivering high-quality chiropractic care and serving the local community with dedication and compassion.

Mind Your Spine
is built on one belief —that true health begins with awareness. With over 10 years of combined clinical experience in the UK, our chiropractors are dedicated to helping you improve your lifestyle and achieve optimal health through nervous system–focused care.
Mind
Proud to be the first chiropractors in Malaysia certified in Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT® Europe), we provide specialised cranial adjusting techniques that influence the cranial bones and dural meningeal system to support optimal nervous system function.
Spine
We know the spine is important, but with SOT® we go beyond joints and discs. By addressing dural torque, improving cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) flow, and supporting the visceral system through Chiropractic Manipulative Reflex Technique (CMRT), we help reconnect your spine with the rest of your body.
Family
As a family chiropractic clinic, we care for all ages of your loved ones — babies, children, adults, pregnant mums, and the elderly. We are certified in the Webster Technique and Perinatal Chiropractic through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA, USA).

With a Master’s degree in Chiropractic awarded with distinction from the University of South Wales, I bring a strong academic foundation combined with over five years of hands-on clinical experience gained in London, UK. During my time in practice, I have worked with a wide range of musculoskeletal and neuro-mechanical conditions, developing a structured, patient-centred approach focused on long-term outcomes rather than short-term relief.
My clinical focus lies in Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT®), having completed all 12 modules of training with SOT® Europe including:
Category System
Extremities
Chiropractic Manipulative Reflex Technique (CMRT, visceral)
Paediatrics
TMJ (Jaw) Technique
Sutural Technique & Cranial Range of Motion
Cranial Specific & Non-specific
Intraoral Technique
This specialised approach allows me to assess and address the relationship between the spine, pelvis, extremity, visceral and cranial system with precision and depth.
In addition, I am certified in Neuro-mechanical Nutrition by the Academy of Chiropractic Nutrition UK, with a particular interest in how underlying factors such as vitamin deficiencies and sustained inflammatory responses can influence biomechanical function and recovery.
I take an integrative view of health, recognising that optimal movement and function are closely linked to neurological, nutritional, and lifestyle factors. My goal is to provide care that is not only effective, but also tailored to each individual—supporting both immediate improvement and long-term resilience.
Outside of clinical practice, I enjoy brewing coffee, photography, and following football and Formula 1—interests that reflect my appreciation for both precision and creativity in and out of the clinic.

I studied at the International Medical University (IMU) and later transferred to the University of South Wales (USW). I graduated with Distinction and began my professional career in London.
I grew up as a ballerina, rhythmic gymnast, and competitive cheerleader, developing not only physical strength but also delicate mind–body control. As a result, I have always been fascinated by the human body, particularly the structure of the spine and how the brain communicates with the rest of the body through it.
I have had a strong interest in the human body since I was young, and I discovered chiropractic both online and at an education fair, which introduced me to this amazing profession. It sparked my passion for chiropractic, as it is my dream to help people in need for a living.
In addition to the Diversified Technique, I am certified in Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT®) under SOTO Europe. This technique includes cranial adjustments and CMRT (visceral reflex technique). Therefore, you may see me not only adjusting the spine but also, at times, the skull and visceral areas. I also provide dry needling treatment for those who need it.
I am also Webster Technique and Perinatal Chiropractic certified, by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA, USA), providing specialised care for expectant mothers and babies. I support mothers before and after delivery and provide information throughout the entire pregnancy journey. I am also trained to assess, assist, and integrate babies’ primitive reflexes, helping newborns and children achieve proper growth and development. I believe every child has the potential to grow healthier, stronger, and develop better brain–body connection.
I love travelling and exploring new places, especially those with beautiful scenery. Feel free to recommend some hidden gems to me, both within and beyond Malaysia!
